Re: New adv bike opinions please!

Thanks for the replies. I looked/sat on a super tenre at romney cycles when I was passing through probably 6-8 months ago but at that point I was pressed on a sport tourer (concours) as my bike after selling the busa. I have obviously since changed my mind so I will have to take a closer look. What ...

Re: New adv bike opinions please!

Thanks for all of your input I really appreciate it. As far as single track goes I was leaning more towards fire/service roads than something you would tackle at hatfields or mtn ridge (true single track). I still have my tagged WR450 for the serious off road stuff! The more I read about adventure b...

New adv bike opinions please!

Well I'm in the market for my first adventure bike. I've always had sport bikes and I'm ready for something I can log a ton of highway miles in comfort with the ability to hit gravel roads and single track as well. Now on to what I've been considering. I'm really into the KTM 1190 from everything iv...

Re: Chevy Cruze Diesel

Looking at 09 and up VW TDI cars and prices are all over the place! I know I can buy new @25k+\-. What would you guys spend on an 09 with around 50k miles? Just looking for a place to start as I can't really find any earlier models that are reasonable. Thanks

Re: Chevy Cruze Diesel

I understand the common rail concept as I own a Dodge diesel which has already been through a set of injectors unfortunately (due to inadequate filtration; 7micron vs 2micron). With that being said my comment towards vw's stems from the amount of issues I've been reading about on the later model uni...

Re: Chevy Cruze Diesel

I have not drove any of the cruzes but I know they come 4cyl n/a, turbo and diesel. I'm interested in the diesel for its range. The diesel version only comes with the upgraded trim package which includes leather, not sure how it compares to other models as I just started looking. The earlier vw dies...

Chevy Cruze Diesel

Anyone have first hand info on the new Cruze diesel? I'm in the market for a new car and have a lengthy commute to look forward too until I relocate. Hate to buy a car during its first year out but it has been out in other parts of the world for a while minus the urea injection. Thanks for any input!

Re: Lets talk about the KTM 1190 Adventure

After reading his thread I was even more interested. As mine will see mostly street duty I would opt for the Adventure not the Adventure R.

Lets talk about the KTM 1190 Adventure

I've been debating a sport touring/adv bike to replace my busa and I believe I've finally found it. I'm leaning towards the 1190 Adventure as it will see mostly paved roads with the occasional dirt road/fire trail. I have looked at a number of sport touring and adv bikes but could not find a happy m...
