DAMN Riders - No rules, Just ride!

I'd come out and check out an event before committing to try to ride it on something more than a trials bike. I wouldn't even think about riding my orange on most of the sections. If not just the weight or the clearance to give the bike some body English, but most of the turns there just isn't enoug...

I went boppin' around Tasker's on the Sherco today. My fork seal job is holding up, so I put on some fresh, front brake pads. My rim repair didn't hold up, so I put in a tube. My ankle hardware didn't hold up, but I'm going to go maximum dosage on ibuprofen and show up anyway. Here's hoping the bike...

Well, she wasn't holding air nearly as well at 6psi. She now has a duct tape rim strip, a whole lot of leading edge tape over anything not perfectly smooth, and a tube. I've got a long way to go before the tube is holding me back. I still want to replace the rim, but I'm not willing to pay full reta...

My mind won't let me do that as a permanent fix. It must be fixed perfectly!

In the mean time, about four hours with a file, wire brush, and scotchbrite pads, and it looks like she's holding pressure, well, at least at 30PSI.

If you want a tagged dirt bike, better to look at the European bikes since they don't brand the title and VIN as "offroad only."
WV is actually a little harder to get one legal than VA.

I think it's an issue of using the tube type slime in a tubeless wheel. But yeah, I won't touch the stuff.

Is there any chance that somebody has a rear rim or wheel for a 2006 2.9 Sherco?
