Re: KTM 450 EXC 2007 Excellent Condition - $5995

If you are planning to run as a supermoto around a more RR style track or on the road the bigger bore bikes might be the way to go. But I personally would choose an LC 4 or the new 690 as a road/road race model. The RFS's are maintenance intensive and maybe not best used for the sustained high spee...

you saw more of him then than I did - I'd see him waiting patiently at an intersection then he'd disappear!

You guys just want to see a 50+ guy standing beside a new KTM lying in the mud crying... :screwy: I'm thinking used!

Re: Frederick dualsport/motard ride, 4/6

Great write-up Scott! I had a great time guys! Thanks! Attached is the track and route from the ride. Enjoyed the creek crossings.

Scott - when you want to do it again but at a speed where we can see the scenery - holler!

I'll check back here in 15- 20 minutes. If I here nothing, I'll see you guys at 1045.
I vote the 2 hour delay. I'm running a little behind. :lol2:

Re: Frederick dualsport/motard ride, 4/6

The radar shows the weather clearing. Roads are drying over here. The dirt roads will still be damp but that will only slow Bucho down, not us slow pokes! My thermometer shows 47 at 0857. 1045 would work. Noon will have more sun.

What year did they start making them street legal? My old eyes can't pick up the turn signals in most of the pictures on Craig's List.

Re: KTM 450 EXC 2007 Excellent Condition - $5995

You should be more than covered for trail riding and real dualsporting with that EXC! I'd keep the KLR for generic dual-sport riding and longer trips (i.e. Canada). I'm lusting for something lighter to bash the trails with. It would be nice to be able to keep you guys in site! :lol2: I th...

Re: KTM 450 EXC 2007 Excellent Condition - $5995

Wow, you don't f_ck around. A 450EXC is one bad ass machine, maybe even the best ever dual-sport for technical off-road riding. That's one of my dream machines... I have no idea if that's a good price or not but a brand new one probably doesn't cost much more than that. I stopped by the dealers yes...
