Re: Cold & wet weather off road gear

Insulated cover-all’s, they don’t look cool but you won’t get wet or muddy.

Re: 2006 Beta REV 3 $2950

I guess he is tired of all the BS you get when trying to sell something. I had a guy years ago offer me half of what I was asking for a jet ski because he wasn’t sure it would float and run. I took it to the river proved to him that it would run and float and then shot it. He thought I was nuts and ...

Re: ATV for Plowing Snow?

There has been chatter about getting the Ford Transit in AWD as well. Not sure if that is a reality or not. Quigley makes a conversion for about $13K They'll only convert brand new vans, not used ones. Otherwise the Cube would be a 6x6! Last time I was on their site they had changed that rule they ...

Re: ATV for Plowing Snow?

My Dad had a snowblower and it was 10 years old, it always got the driveway clean wet or dry snow. Driveway was always clean when he got home from work.

Re: Advice Needed - kids ATV

I bet most of us on here know at least one person who has been hurt or worse on a four wheeler. I believe that they are the most dangerous toys you could get. Motorcycles aren’t perfect but at least if you wreck they don’t chase you down and pound you into the dirt most of the time. Just saying!!

Re: UPS may be striking next week

Nothing bad to say about Brown here, always bring it to the front door and put it under porch. Fed X that’s another story, sometimes at garage doors, sometimes at the bottom of driveway (we can’t see bottom of the driveway from house) and sometimes on top of trash cans. Which means it will go into t...

Re: Oct 14 MAVT event

DAMN how did I miss this? 10 minuets from home I would have had to have made it! Sorry I missed it The trail was as steep as your driveway but covered with lots of liquid traction and roots, perfect for drum brake bikes. We will be back next year and might even do 2 events in 2019. Some great high ...

Re: Contractors, builders, Holiday Inn Express folks...

Being only 12’ wide you should have no worries about walls spreading with collar ties if held down a third or half way with a 8/12 pitch. If you insulate floor use only ridged foam, mice love anything else and you won’t be able to stand the smell. Did you price a shed?

Re: Contractors, builders, Holiday Inn Express folks...

Only thing I would do is do rafters on 16” centers. I think think I know what you’re talking about on gables, but in case I don’t. Drop gable ends by 5 1/2” and have your ladders attach to your first truss and have them bear on gable ends and build them out of 2x6’s and attach them with hurricane ti...
