Re: craigslist finds

This thread could use a kick start. If I were closer to this one the gravitational attraction of any plated 525 around the $3000 mark would probably suck me in. Fortunately this one is a long way from Annapolis. Still, that is a decent price if it is as good as the owner says and easy to license her...

2000 LC4 640E $2300 (Sold)

I'm not retyping all that from last night. So click the link if interested. Some of y'all have probably seen this bike being "gently" used by a little old man on weekends at various Shenandoah 500 rides. So I tried to be as honest as possible. I believe it is still a very solid bike. It is...

Re: KLR 250

Welcome to the button only club. I made the mistake of asking the ankle surgeon if I could still ride with wife in the room . Fortunately he said yes but no kickstarting. Grreatwife helped me find the 640 because it was left kick and the button.

GLWS and I hope you get your knees back.

Re: Parting out a motorcycle

I left the engine number blank on my last four motorcycles without an issue. The inspection shops always check the VIN. But apparently not having an engine number is no big deal.

Tentatively sold. Waiting on cash and pick up. Going to miss this one.

At least until the 525 is legal. :brows:

Re: MD Plated KTM 200

Dropped the price a little and open to offers because this came home with me tonight. The 200 is really, really fun but not for getting places with the psychos on US50 and I-97 that I have to deal with to ride it as a dual sport. But I suspect a 525 can hold its own even in the ridiculous traffic I ...

**** SOLD **** MD Plated KTM 200

I am going try y'all out before going the CL route. And I know I am going to regret this. But Annapolis just isn't the place for this bike. Which is why I doubt it has even gone 500 miles total since I bought it Fall of 2011. I have never even had it offroad except for a bit of one Shenandoah 500. I...

Re: 2014 Shenandoah 500 Oct 4th and 5th Mt Solon VA

Friday for me in C23. I am apparently bringing what I suspect is n00b to this stuff on a DRZ. He is a recently retired Navy guy fairly new to the area. I have never ridden with him and have no idea what his skill level is. So this one could be entertaining. But then I also sprained my thumb and wris...

Re: S500 Oct 5-6

+3 on saying thanks for leading us around for two days. The Sunday ride was perfect. All new to me roads, just long enough and got me home early enough to unpack and hose down the bike. Excellent work. Thanks again. Thanks to all for letting me hang out and tag along. http://i427.photobucket.com/alb...
