Re: New rider in Lexington Park area.

Wicomico Motorsports Park is off Budds Creek Rd near Trinity Church Rd. They have 3 tracks (pee wee, intermediate, and advanced) and a 6-7 mile hare scramble loop. I'm sure your 650 would be fine in the woods, it's not tight single track. It's a bit expensive to pay $45 per day just for a small wood...

FOR SALE: 2003 Yamaha Raptor 80 SE ($800) **SOLD**

Before this goes up on Craigslist or Facebook I wanted to see if anyone was interested in a nice quad for their kid, niece, nephew, or whatever. It is a Raptor 80 with 3 speed transmission but no clutch, shaft drive so no chain/sprockets to maintain, and smaller rear tires to minimize tipping over a...

Re: DRZ 400 rpm/gearing/speed

Here is a link to some good info on DRZ gearing. I tried 14/47 for trail riding, but it was painful on the street. I went back to stock 15/44 for best compromise dirt / street.

Re: Ride today and camera review

I don't think Contour is out of business, they still sell cameras. There may be a difference in the chipset that makes the GoPro better for a broadcaster, I totally get that. I did a lot of research before I purchased mine, mostly about features, form factor, video quality, and price point. When it ...

Re: Ride today and camera review

I have a friend who just bought a GoPro hero 3 and when he puts it in the protective case there is an annoying clicking sound in the entire video, so he can't use any of the audio in his videos. He just adds a music track, which I find weird when you can't hear the bike. I think GoPro has become the...

Good thing both his legs got caught up. It might have been worse if only one was caught.

Also on Fox Sports 1 / FS2. All the heavy hitters are healthy and racing this year, minus CR22 who just got injured.

Re: 99 KTM 300 EXC Ignition Problem - No Spark?

Is there a rectifier on there for lights and such to take the AC from the stator and rectify for DC powered lights?? It's usually mounted to the frame and has a heat sink on it. I'm not familiar with the KTM bikes so sorry if this was a stupid question. I had a stator go bad on my DRZ, but it put ou...
