Re: WTB: Montesa 2604T

Shame Alta did not make it. Have a friend in Pittsburg with one or could be 2. He loves it and the hard core 2 stroke enduro guys that ride it have nothing but good things to say. I rode Dave's when we were in NC last Dec at Brown Mtn. It was pretty cool. I rode behind him for a while and places wh...

Great tool kit

I saw one of these about 8-10 years ago when I was helping a guy on the side of the road fix his bike. I took a picture of it and when I got home, I found it and bought one. Fits in the tiniest of places where a normal allen is not easy or it is hard to get a grip to tighten etc. And it is a ratchet...

Re: WTB: Montesa 2604T

I'm mulling over ordering Sur Ron X to ride while I'm on my quest for the Honda. With proper tires and some handlebar rise on it it seems like it would be a fun and stealthy way for me to get more practice close by home. I have been thinking about the same thing Wes. On my peninsula, I have all of ...

Re: Wolf den run state park

I successfully made a reservation using their form . I filled it out yesterday around 2PM and awaited a callback. They rung today at 11AM to confirm, took CC payment, and immediately sent the completed reservation form via email. It was $40 for 4 riders, but it might be cheaper in other situations ...

Re: DAMN ADV ride May 1-2

Just trying to help wrangle those camping and get a consensus... Primitive camping in Buchanan SF works for me and will keep the group a bit closer together. I was hoping hidden springs would work out but they dont allow tents; they conveniently refer you to Rocky gap :wallbash: Glad you guys broug...

Re: DAMN ADV ride May 1-2

Well, I made this to end at Rocky Gap on Day 1 and I always intended to stay at the hotel, have a hot shower, a nice meal, some drinks and sit in the bar and look out over the lake. If you have ever been to the resort, it is pretty nice. My X wife worked in Sales and marketing for the Sheraton at th...

Re: What did you work on today?

Did a small electrical job today. Had to run a trigger wire to the PDM60, so I routed some flex hose to run the wire through. The Yamaha accessory plug (on both sides) is right under the side faring up front and has a +/- and Trig, so I grabbed the trigger for the pdm and used the +/- for my gps mou...
