Re: 2012 AMA Husqvarna Shenandoah 500 National 2-Day Dual Sp

Dude, on your bike or cage? I was loading a stump-grinder into my pickup to wrap up a large project before skipping town. Had just got the thing loaded and had one ramp in the truck, on resting on the ground when the asshat cut through the parking lot of the rental place to avoid a light. He ran ov...

Re: 2012 AMA Husqvarna Shenandoah 500 National 2-Day Dual Sp

Yeah, so I was in a hit-n-run Thursday afternoon in a parking lot. Some asshole in a white van tried to cut through the parking lot of the Gaithersburg Tool Rental and nailed me, then sped off. No one got the tags. It bruised my knee pretty good and cut my shin, but I'll heal. Stay safe guys - looks...

Re: PADI Cert

No, still have the 950. TW200 is still in pieces. So is the sailboat engine. And the garage. 950 is for sale but not listed anywhere. I'm thinking the TW200, maybe a 500CC KTM, and a BMW R-bike are the ideal garage. The 110 mile round trip commute prevents the 950 from getting ridden daily or having...

Re: 2012 AMA Husqvarna Shenandoah 500 National 2-Day Dual Sp

I've been out sick all week, finally shook it yesterday. Provided I'm still healthy tomorrow I'll be leaving later in the day - 5-7pm - as I can escape my duties here. Should be there NLT 10pm? Still have room on the trailer and in the VW - not bringing the F150 since I didn't get a ramp this week. ...

Both. Sentimental value and the lack of challenge/excitement. Guess that's why I rode <--- yes, past tense. Haven't had the bike out since Spring.

Re: PADI Cert

Got it filled, but *not* diving. :brows:

I lost my sunglasses in a 6' deep private lake, and another member on here helped my Secret Fire Mission onto the property to get them back. We failed, but I'm still alive, so I'd call it a draw.

Re: 3.95

4.20 for diesel yesterday. Even at 45MPG, ouch! $63 for a week's worth of fuel. Plus $8.10 twice a week for the ICC when traffic sucks. I can't afford to go to work!

PADI Cert

I've got a 3.0CF Spare Air pony tank that needs filled, but I don't have a PADI cert. Anyone on the board in the Gaithersburg, Rockville, Frederick area have a cert and mind getting it filled? I have the adapter to top it off from a full scuba tank as well.

Re: 2012 AMA Husqvarna Shenandoah 500 National 2-Day Dual Sp

I'm in C23 - I have room for more (dude you want in?) They also said that they are not going to be strict about having more than 2 tents per site - 3 is ok due to the number of people staying in the campground that weekend. 2 cars per site - that stays - but they have overflow parking. Unload and s...

I wondered that the first time standing naked, dick-to-ass, at MEPS. TD2 (the third day) was a low point - but after 4 days you start to adjust mentally.
