Re: GasGas Ranger

As much as I don't want to give Gas Gas credit for doing something smart I have to admit a average Joe bike is a wise move. They have done the same with the trials bikes....even one with e-start.

Re: Baby Beta

It was the added power that helped with the log hopping. I did notice not many cheater lines were being made so good for you....bit easier than on your ole Honda 400? Stall.....kick kick kick kick.

Re: Baby Beta

I am impressed you made it around the farm loop and still have that license plate plow attached to the back. The baby Beta sounded good chugging around yesterday.

Re: MAVT helmet rules

They just will not allow a bicycle helmet like the ones that sit on your head. Quality downhill bicycle helmets are used by a few friends and no issues to date. Think the disclaimer is more for a insurance CYA. Now if you was to ride a national trials event they are much more fussy.

Re: UPS may be striking next week

Brown managed to loose a complete shipment of parts and gear for TRS (40k value). Just washed hands of it. Tracking shows it tagged in at KY terminal but no where to be found.
FedEX has always managed to come thru for smaller shipping where anytime Brown was involved it has been trouble.

Re: Buce's old Beta thread

Renthal makes a 7/8" trials bar...reasonable cost also. Will probably have to order. They have a Dougie bend and Fugi bend also. I like the flatter less bend bars but you may want the Dougie for bit more pull back and rise. Put dino oil back in your clutch before the fancy synt oil kills your cork p...

Re: Buce's old Beta thread

Lots of simple mods can be done for little $$$$, just look at what was done with my Yamaha.....managed to get a rider to 2nd place 2 line.

Re: Buce's old Beta thread

You do realize many of those bikes had 15 years (older) than yours.....how about having a go with the BSA on 3 line and place in top 3.... Just goals. You have brakes so that is like cheating.
