My $.02 from what I have owned (smokers). Had a 04 KTM 200 EXC, great bike, very nimble, it has an adjustable power valve that is super easy to adjust where you want the pipe to come in. It came with a 6 speed while the 250 and 300 were still 5 speed. 1st was super low, great grunt through the rocks...

I will try to be there around 0730. I figued I ride the roads to get a feel for the area then hit the easy trails for awhile. But I can head back to my truck whenever you can get there. Weather looks OK for Fri....but I'll keep checking. I just about always ride alone and I have learned my limitati...

I would not ride at Shade alone, not a fun place to get hurt and not have a buddy to help you out. Just my $.02
The trails have some markers but the DAMN hunters keep tearing them down.
The trees are marked with purple paint (state picked color).
