Re: RAC - Saturday, January 27th

Yea- one thing I learned over the kast three winters is that once we have a significant (3-5inch) snowfall- Valley area is done until spring. On the other hand Burma side of Moutain clears and dries much sooner. I wouldn't bother with Valley Road area until after we have 3-4 days in a row of mid 50...

Taking an "adventure ride" isn't all that difficult.
cool - we'll meet at your place, follow you north to the start and then head south on their route.

We'll get motels with camping spots for you die-hards! :killingme:

Re: Mid Atlantic Backcountry Discovery Route

So, yeah. All you really need is a couple of days and a friggin' map. :screwy: Taking an "adventure ride" isn't all that difficult. It's funny, when I was younger we would do that stuff all the time. I'd get on my trusty Yamaha 650 Special II, maroon and chrome. :deal: Duffel bag strapped to the rea...

Re: RAC - Sunday, January 21st

So...right now I "plan" to be up there around 1000.
I don't plan on riding with you guys, per say. So don't wait for me or loop back around, etc.
What I really want to do is explore and get to know the area.
I hope to run into you guys, but no worries if I don't.
