Re: New Member in Stevensville, MD (Kent Island)

It has been dead lately... Usually its not this bad

My non-motorcycling life has been kicking my butt lately. Just one thing after another.

Greenridge, Washed Out Roads

I'm sorry I don't have any pics... I was at Greenridge this past week, just some camping and kayaking. Wasn't a moto trip, but I did use a dualsport bike to help with getting my van back and forth for dropping off and picking up the kayaks on the Potomac. Many of the roads have damage from flooding ...

I'd imagine he means dirtroads.

Any trails would be illegal and we obviously wouldn't be doing that. Please send PMs if you are.

Re: New Member in Stevensville, MD (Kent Island)

Hi new guy. Yes, a non-street legal dirtbike will work for most of the rides we post about on this forum. Should be obvious when they don't work. Most of our local dualsport rides are really just dirt road rides, something easily done on any streetbike (maybe just slower), or if there is actual offr...

Neat!

Bruce have you picked this up yet? Id love to see one in person.

I hear there is a relatively cheap 180cc kit for that engine.

Re: 2019 Alta Redshift EXR

MSRP $12,500 :barf: 4 hrs trail riding :barf: :barf: 274 lbs :barf: :barf: :barf: It costs 50% more than a new 2T dirt bike, provides 1/2 of the operational performance and weights 40 lbs too much. Pretty cool is NOT the term I would use to describe it.... Don't be so negative. You aren't wrong abo...

Re: Best bike for 5'4" rider

Was the TTR really close? Because she rode the “small wheels” version of the TTR. The other version has larger wheels and thus a little taller. Yamaha also had a TTR225/230. This was basically a full sized bike but just a little bit smaller. Honda had something really similar, a CRF230. Kinda rare, ...

Re: Joker's Western MD Camp and Ride 5/25-26 Rnd 3?!

Deceptively challenging. :knary: Some steep hills that come at you fast, and get steeper as you go up. I had a pretty good fall on a big one, but didn't have camera running. Lesson learned - don't sit for traction, STAND for survival !! This was the maiden voyage on a new bike, and some obvious adj...
