Re: What did you work on today?

Nice YZ I did some work the other day on my Yamaha. IMG_3278.jpeg The TW has so much power I need to strap weights to the front rack to help keep the front end on the ground. Ha! No really, what is the thing for? I have a trip or two this coming year where I think it will be useful. One trip may in...

Re: Stark VARG

@smdub is this terrain gnarly enough? :) Won a 2:20 hard enduro, without recharging, with 30% left at the end. I don't know the mileage, but I do know that after watching this video, I'd be more than done riding for the day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPvYejZkakI ~Patrick I havnt finished the ...

Re: Stark VARG

Yeah, the WATR ride was on the calendar, but... *sniff* my son had to work. Sixteen years old, and impacted by work getting in the way of riding. DAMN it. That's really not what I meant by "you need to get a job for that type of life experience." :censored: ~Patrick You need to come out t...

A couple of us rode some today. Great weather and no rain for once.

Re: Adventure/Dualsport Helmet

Wonder if any local shops are marking down the XD-4s now that it's discontinued. If it fits well for you they seem to be worth the investment. I ended up getting a killer deal on a Schuberth E1 which I couldn't pass up but regret it. I would not recommend the E1. Ive never owned an Arai, but maybe....

Adventure/Dualsport Helmet

Any recommendations for a decent adv type helmet? I have a street/full face helmet and a MX/offroad helmet that are both pretty long in the tooth. I was looking to get a helmet that has a visor that can pull down for street riding. Or remove the visor and use w/ goggles/glasses for offroad. (I still...
