Re: MAVT Mt Airy - July 14th

I would have gone for a second loop but the first 3/4 of the loop trail was an ass kicker and I was getting worn out just from the loop. :screwy: The loop itself was kicking my butt too. So how about that guy on the ATC 70 Honda trying to ride the loop...drugs had to be involved.
He rolled it going down one of the steep slopes, was in the bushes. But he seemed to be having a good time.

Re: MAVT Mt Airy - July 14th

It was a fun day. Some sections were harder than others.
The loop itself had some long sections, tired me out.
Glad I went. Will have to get myself a trials bike, thanks for the loaner Bruce!

Looks pretty promising Twist. I know Lightyear (other new guy) was also interested in going out there to ride.

Re: AOAA for a couple of days

All the dashed lines are described as single track/dual sport type trails. I say "described as" because while a lot of them are, some bits of them look a lot like the smaller quad trails. they would be focusing on more options for dual sport riding. You keep using the term “dual sport”, is this int...

Re: AOAA for a couple of days

I rode there a couple years ago and we could not find any single track. Hopefully that has changed and the report comes back positive. Yeah, I remember your ride report. I remember being disappointed at the time. Its been a few years. I'd go just to check it out. Maybe its like Mt Ridge. I don't kn...
