Re: American wins Dakar

I was never lucky enough to be around dirtbikes when I was younger. Closest was a family friend had a Honda ATC. Would let my older brother ride it. He was 11-11, I was about 7-8 and would get to ride on the back.

Wow, I didn't watch the whole thing (I'll find some time later), but there was some steep/off camber stuff!

Cool!

Re: Trials Bug nibbling at me

What works great when getting together on a regular basis is not possible is shoot a little video of you working on something like a larger log crossing. Post up and ask "what am I doing correct and wrong" My nephew progressed so much by doing that and emailing me what he was up to. From simple thi...

Re: American wins Dakar

This has been interesting to follow this year. Hadn't watched it in years. Sort of like Nicky Hayden back in MotoGP - I was rooting for an American to win but I hate Honda so I was internally conflicted. (too many squids on them in my formative years has forever scarred me.) FWIW, Can-Am is canadia...

American wins Dakar

Since its start in 1979, no American has ever won the Dakar.
After 41 years we have TWO champions!

American Brabec wins the bikes class aboard a Honda.

American Currie wins the side-by-side class in an American CanAm.

Re: BRP battery

Aye, I found proper battery information. Antigravity RESTART batteries are made in China, but the regular Li-Ion batteries are made in the USA. See post #5 here: https://advrider.com/f/threads/antigravity-batteries-game-changing-new-lithium-battery.1282714/ Ok, he also says "All the Lithium Cells a...

Sorry for the newbiness but what is a BRP? As in a Can Am BRP product. Searched BRP motorcycles and nothing pops up, don’t want to miss out on anything if I can help it [emoji16]

Re: Trials Bug nibbling at me

Any advice on places to ride? I've been googling around for something like "we're a trials club, come join us, we have a riding area that's setup for trials practice with a bunch of interesting stuff on it", but I don't seem to be finding exactly that. I see competition events, but I assume that pe...
