Great work, Ken!
Thanks. I got it started but James Ratino brought home the bacon. He deserves the credit.

To be clear, I wasn't busting on Ken. Hell, my old Beta had a little trouble on those hills on the loop.

Those hills are where the electric motor really shined. Pure linear torque. :knary:

Re: MAVT Mt Airy - July 14th

Be nice to Ken... He braved the heat and made a loop. That first big downhill I just was thinking about Ken will not like this then the 2x10 stream crossings was perfect beginner level stuff...just a small price to pay for failure. I saw those boards and thought maybe I should just toss the bike in...

It was a fun day. Some sections were harder than others.
The loop itself had some long sections, tired me out.
Glad I went. Will have to get myself a trials bike, thanks for the loaner Bruce!
You forgot to mention to took 2nd in your class your first time out and on a borrowed bike.

Re: MAVT Mt Airy - July 14th

I plan to go. I have extra bikes if Phil is interested. Never been there before. sweet. I got this back from someone who rides there in comparison to Taylorsville. "A few less tight turns but more rocks/logs/hillsides..." and Taylorsville was one big ass, long, steep hillside :barf: oh well, nothin...
