Re: Show us your toy hauler!

18 mpg seems optimistic pulling a trailer, apparently Ken's math is as good as his riding :killingme: HA! I have a witness. When Wingfixer resurfaces he'll attest to that. The RAM 1500 EcoDiesel is an awesome truck. :deal: BTW, going to Michigan for a race, cruise control set at 80 MPH, we got 16 M...

Re: Show us your toy hauler!

Hey--I got dibs on a used 6x12 single axle enclosed trailer. Has side door, not sure about the rear, I think it's a ramp. Has moto chock things inside. Not sure what else. I'll look at it tomorrow. Probably 3000# gross right. I000" empty weight? 6x12 is a decent size right? How much does flat nose ...

Said the furloughed gubbermint worker?
Sadly, DoD is not furloughed. No free vacation for me. BUT, as a consolation prize, I get a regular paycheck! :loveit:

Re: ATV for Plowing Snow?

I have an old snow blower you can have free. Obviously needs some help but it will start (carb will need cleaned or replaced). 32" wide with plug in e start. https://photos.smugmug.com/Mobile-uploads/i-82kGMLB/0/07ce0985/L/20171217_150730-L.jpg That is a beast....and the price is right. Re: ATV for Plowing Snow?

Does anyone use an atv for plowing snow? My new place has a larger driveway and Im already sick of shoveling. I was perusing craigslist for a cheapish 4x4 atv. I could probably find a few other chores to use it for but I have zero intentions of using it for trail riding. Is this totally stupid? Sho...

Re: Trials Training School - March 30 – 31, 2019

What exactly is the difference between the novice & beginner groups? Mike will chime in, but I think a novice is above beginner. My understanding is that the whole deal is informal and those two will be grouped together but you can do/go where/what you want. You in? Ken needs a roomie. I th...

Re: Some private riding

Looks like fun! Maybe in future years I'll be to host a larger DAMN ride outing. But the property doesn't belong to me and I'm being careful to stay on very good terms with the owners. In the meantime I'll keep working on trails. Some really easy for wife, kids, (and Ken) . Others more challenging!...
