If the are Snell or DOT approved, there isn't a lot of difference other than individual fit/finish. I prefer the try 'em on until you find one you like and can afford method.

If you are still interested in someone to shorten your kickstand, I used Automotive Parts and Machine at 900 E. Patrick St., Frederick, 301-663-8866. I was happy with the work, and I am still using it 2 years later so it is holding up fine. Rich WHAT! You didn't go to Rudy's Beer and Welding? :fitz:
