I joked w/ him as he was riding it 'you know I have one of those for sale'. He said it was the best advertisement / ploy ever :) Technically he didn't buy THAT exact bike (which is the one I've ridden at your place a ton) but he bought the other one I have w/ all the suspension mods.
He's also the ...

The Cove, Gore VA
Dan, Alex, Greg, and I rode at the Cove a few weeks back when our trip to NC was cancelled due to the hurricane. Dan just posted his video. I think we broke Greg in the rocks by lunchtime. I convinced Greg to ride my backup* Freeride E after lunch and he had a lot more fun in the technical stuff (so ...

I'm interested in the PA BDRx.
Looks like my amazon link didn't embed in my prior post?

Re: Tusk rackless luggage
I've read a lot of good things about the Tusk rackless. I have the Wolfman equivalent w/ the E base (KTM500 on KAT & VA DS trips) - before the Tusk version came out. Also have the Mosko reckless 80L(?) for the 701 (NEBDR). The issues I had w/ all those those rackless styles is the legs/bags ...

Re: Stark VARG
I would guess keeping the battery below 50V allows them to treat it as "low voltage" vs protections/precautions needed for a true HV system.
It does per UL but the next step up is still super easy. We built products that had up to 600Vdc. Other than switchgear (breakers) availability its not ...

2025 KTM-E: A little more info is coming out

More pics and details than we've had before. Water cooled motor. You can spy the TINY radiators now. All the plumbing is behind covers.
50.4V motor suggests the battery/system is ...

Re: Stark VARG
Another viable (?) contender has entered the chat.
KTM has announced the completely reworked 2025 Freeride E. Only 18.5 kW (24.8 HP) peak power, but 37 Nm (27.3 ft-lb) torque, so not bad. Same torque, 5/8th the HP as a Beta 300RR. Hot swappable batteries. Claim a battery will last 2-3h on the ...

Re: Stark VARG
Stark has dropped their price on in stock Alpha (80hp) models to $11k. Almost a $3k drop.
