Re: Recognize this SUV?

The sorento, with those tires, is an unstoppable force in the snow (they are M+S rated). I live on a steep hill and never had any trouble getting up the hill. The mileage was always a disappointment though. I got the same mileage in the sorento as I had in the 97 suburban it replaced. :killingme: St...

Re: Taming a 2 stroke

On my 00 kx250 I did the FW weight, G2 throttle, rekluse, retarded timing, and ran it a little rich to start. Once I was used to the thing I went to stock throttle, normal timing, and better jetting (I'm way too lazy to ever have anything resembling perfect jetting). It did take me a little while to...

Heck, I bought a unicycle this summer to help teach myself better balance. :lol2:
Does that work? I've got an inner ear disorder and have depended on being strong to make up for my lack of balance. Improving my balance would be better, I'm sure.

Re: Kiddie MX Boots

Speaking of kids I've I've got an XR80 out in the shed. I've got to do a little maintenance on it but if anyone has a kid that might like to try riding y'all can feel free to borrow it. For real clutch and all that... It's amazing how similar it is to the 78 XR75 that was my first bike. interesting...

Re: Well I did it

if you go to ADV Rider in the trials forum you will find some posts about the other electric trials bikes. Yamaha has a full clutch with gears..if we get it to the US who knows. Dale, ex GasGas trials importer is also importing electric trials bikes and full clutch. The EM will perform just fine as...

The rule about puddles: always let someone else go first
Indeed, back when budds creek had trails in the woods I went into a puddle, that didn't even look that big, and ended up spending nearly an hour getting my bike out.

Re: DR650 on Regular Car Reviews

Having multiple bikes, even for the same apparent purpose, is really nice. For instance, when I had the CBR1000RR and the Versys 650 for riding to work I really enjoyed the differences between the bikes (for instance strong motor on the CBR, agility on the Versys).
