Bohn closeout stuff

There are some pretty good closeouts at the Bohn store:

I ordered a back protector for my stich, some armored shorts for dirt riding, and some knee protectors. Only totalled about $60 shipped...

Ok, I'll be off work from 12/11 - 1/2 so I'll be around.

Re: Slacker Digital Sag Scale- Set it and Shred it!

So, version 2 of these things has been on sale recently ($120) plus I had some rocky mountain bucks so I went ahead and got one. I had put on a fox shock last winter but never bothered to set the sag (I'm a very, very lazy mechanic). If nothing else buying this thing motivated me to finally take car...

Re: RAC or FRO 2018

Eh, for me average dual sport/ enduro entry = $50. $175÷50=3.75 visits. You could ride there a dozen or more times and not see the same trail twice (though we do have favorites). Given my schedule I like having high grade single track at my disposal. Yeah, the single track is certainly a draw. Ther...

Re: RAC or FRO 2018

Maybe I'll move to PA when I retire... This is outside of my tolerance for frequent day trip driving. I would be fine with the fee if I lived closer.

Re: 2016 Desert 100 with Megan Griffiths

That's very cool. I've watched some her vids before, definitely some extreme natural talent there. I'm not sure I would even ride dirt bikes if desert was the main riding environment. Way too fast for me and my current crash aversion. There was a time when I was younger where I just about intended t...

Re: WATR Fall Trail Ride - November 26

I'll be the first to admit I wont be spending any of my $$ on some crazy 2WD design. BUT I think its cool that someone is spending the R&D $$ on new ideas that could eventually trickle down into really cool stuff for riding. Oh, yeah, I definitely agree. I do think it's a hard road to take if the t...

Re: WATR Fall Trail Ride - November 26

Huh, I didn't realize JT was selling Alta.

There's something to be said for form following function but the front end on that 2wd thing makes me want throw dust into my eyes for relief.

Free tires

Since I'm switching to tubliss I'd like to get rid of some front tires that I've already used with regular rim locks (which could make them leaky with tubliss). There's a nearly new 90/90x21 Maxxis Maxx Cross EN and an 80/100x21 GoldenTyre that came stock on the xtrainer (both were swapped with fatt...
