Re: Adding this to my backpack - pretty cool if you need a j
Yeah, I've had that thing bookmarked for a few weeks thinking I might get one to keep on my cbr1000rr. That thing has a tiny battery (same size as Honda specs for a 99cc scooter) and can be fussy about starting in winter. $150 bucks is a bit steep though. I bought another bike for really cold days i...

Re: cold weather riding wear
I've got some of the cheap Hippo Hands knock offs. Got 'em at The Dirt Shop about 20 years ago. I haven't used them in years. Kind of sad to see the originals going away though. Re: cold weather riding wear
I get cold easy and it's getting worse as I get older. I will not be without an electric jacket again. That would be awesome. Thanks!motojunky wrote:No need to wait until next year. We did a "newbie trials day" last off-season that went well. We could easily be talked into doing it again.

Re: Trials Open House Nov 3rd
I can't get past the notion that there was a prius with a bike on a hitch rack... Did I read that right?
I'm not going to be able to get out to this one but, when they get started back up next year, I will definitely be out. Thanks for the offers of help/rides!

Re: Trials Open House Nov 3rd
Kirk, There's one last vintage event in Centerville, DE on 11/9. Modern bikes are welcome too, and generally there's about a 50/50 split. You can check out all of the bikes and see what you think. There are usually a few bikes for sale too. Bring your gear and we can arrange for you to take a spin ...
