Re: Weather!!!

Weather was nice today for a change. Was able to get 35 miles or so on back roads, even some dirt/gravel that was very wet and muddy. Just glad it was short as I hit every puddle there I think. :roost:

Re: Riding Michaux

I might be interested in riding if you can put up with a very slow guy taking up the rear. I have not been to Michaux in a few years, so may be ready for trying it this year. I am available any day (comes with retirement) as long as the weather is good (fair weather rider).

Keedysville Burger

Saturday the wife and I decided to get a bite to eat before the cold rainy, snowy, or what ever they were calling for hit. Decided to go somewhere close to home. Had not been there in quite awhile, so we headed to Bonnie's at the Red Byrd. I had the Keedysville burger platter, and the wife had the S...

Re: ATV for Plowing Snow?

Remember most ATV's are belt driven, and last along time under normal conditions. Pushing snow is not really normal. Forward, backward, spinning etc. This will wear a belt faster than you would think. And when will it break? When we have a big snow of course. That being said, it may last a long time...

Long Trip

Saw this in the Hagerstown paper today. He did this on a 1000 V-Strom. Too much of a ride for me. :roost: STATE LINE, Pa. — Five years ago, Randy Ward rode his motorcycle through the 48 contiguous states in 26 days. He added a 49th state to his log this summer when he set off for the northernmost po...

Re: Hitch Hauler

Thanks for would be the replies. What I had in mine was to take the Jeep to places like Michaux or Greenridge and let my wife follow me around in the Jeep while I am on my dual sport. I bought her a 125 and we tried Michaux once, but that did not work (I won't say anymore on that). So the Jeep is th...

Hitch Hauler

Ok after seeing two pics of two different kind of hitch haulers on the Michaux Dual Sport thread, which one is the preferred one? Or at least your opinion on steel vs aluminum. I will be using it on a Jeep and a Pick up also. I am a little older and not to mention out of shape, so easy is what I am ...
