Re: What did you work on today?

I got a few more boards that I needed at Lowe's today. I need a few more bags of Rockwool to insulate the floor before I nail down the last few floor boards. I'm picking those up at Home Depot tomorrow. Today, I put down the rest of the floor joists, insulated all that I could with what I had, and n...

Re: The Great Cornholio virus?

Next time, turn your buddy's siren and lights on so when he flips the battery or ignition switch on, they go off while he's sitting still at the ambulance bay. Airway lube on the door handles is also fun.

Re: What did you work on today?

The problem with the exhaust on the 20 HP motor that I was given was that the exhaust pipes turned down and went into a muffler that sat below the frame. That doesn't work on this walk-behind because the muffler would be where the mower deck belt is. The exhaust pipe on the 16 HP motor original to t...

Re: What did you work on today?

Very nice. When I get a better table saw, it will be a Saw Stop. If I have a nice enough shop, I'll do a dust collection system as well. I'm tired of taking the saws outside to cut if I want to avoid dust in the shop.

Re: What did you work on today?

I wish I was a little more handy. Some of you guys are pretty impressive. Nice pup Jed. That's Ashes. He's one from the first litter we had. We have him, his father, and a 2 year old black lab. We just loaned out the lab to a friend to breed with her lab mix and it sounds like we're getting a puppy...

Re: What did you work on today?

I did some more work on the sunporch today. The goal is to make it an enclosed conditioned space that will be my new laundry room and mud/entry room. The whole floor will be the level of the OSB floor you see built so far. I'm totally re-siding and re-roofing the house, so don't worry about the shea...

Re: where do you put your gear?

You'd be surprised how many people drive those super tiny cars and weigh north of 350#. That's how it doesn't wheelie.

Re: What did you work on today?

At the end of last season, my walk behind mower motor grenaded. It was an older 16 HP Briggs Vanguard. https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-M7tNQQN/0/bc2ab302/XL/i-M7tNQQN-XL.jpg A friend gave me an older Craftsman riding mower without a deck. It has a lower end Briggs 20 HP motor. I'm attempting to ...
