Re: Tubliss!

I love it on the rear. I'm ambivalent about it on the front. I might try a bib mousse next time I puncture an inner tube on the front Tubliss.

Re: Street helmets

I have a PackTalk Bold installed on my TK-1200. I had a Sena SMH-10 in it before.

Re: Street helmets

Which helmet?

I've been a medium across many brands. I wore a medium RF-900, RF-1000, and RF-1100. When I bought the medium RF-1200, Shoei had changed their head shape and it was no longer a good fit for me. I fit the medium Klim TK-1200 perfectly.

Re: New Bike

1090 weight 507# (wet) and 125 HP. The thing feels like a large dirt bike, seriously. Even with off-road mode engaged (100 HP and rear ABS off), it kicks butt in the dirt. I've got about 2200 miles on it so far and I've bad both wheels in the air at the same time already, I've put over 100 miles of ...

Re: Street helmets

I had a Shoei RF-1000 and RF-1100, but they changed head shapes for the RF-1200 so I sent that helmet back. The Klim TK-1200 has pinlock (much bigger than the Shoei ones), a quick release buckle (a must anymore), a Transitions lens so it goes from clear to dark with sunlight. I think a drop-down sun...

Re: Street helmets

I have a Klim TK1200 carbon fiber modular. It's lighter than most non-modular full-face helmets.

Re: New Bike

I will not be riding it at Michaux this year. It's brand new, I'm not used to it, it has no skid plate, etc. The 450 is my Michaux bike. I will be selling the Wee soon. I think it's over 80k, now. No real issues with it, but a few items I want to clean up before I put it up for sale. Sweet! I have a...

Yes, I'll be parking at Bruce's in my old beat up F150. I'm bringing a couple large tires to transfer over to Phil in his van, so I hope he's parking there, too.
